The Adult Choir is open to members and non-members 16 years of age and older.  They provide music for our traditional worship service at 10:55 each Sunday.   Additional  special musical presentations are given during the Christmas and Easter seasons.  Weekly practices are held on Sunday night at 6:00 pm and on Sunday morning at 10:30 am before the worship service.

Our handbell ringers rehearse on Sunday afternoon at 4:45 each week.  This group provides special music during our traditional worship service throughout the year.  Ringers also join with the Adult Choir on selected music during the holiday season.   Please join us as we ring with joy.

Our contemporary service is led by the adult praise band. The ten member ensemble includes vocalists, drums, guitars, bass, piano and various other instruments that we can dig up. If you are interested in becoming a part of our band, please contact Michael Jarrell by clicking here.

The organized unit of United Methodist Women of Thomaston First UMC provides an opportunity for women to share in a fellowship of study, prayer and support.  At the same time we are supporting missions both locally and globally through personal gifts and fundraising.

We are organized into small groups for monthly meetings and join together throughout the year for special events.  Our small groups meet at a variety of times providing  convenient times to select from.

We have nursery provided for all church services and most special events.

Join us for dinner, fellowship and bible study, each week at 5:30 in the Fellowship Hall. We look forward to making new friends and sharing wonderful times together. Please call the church office by Monday of each week to make your reservations.

Each week, we offer Sunday school beginning at 9:45 am. There are classes for all ages from children to senior adults. Join us each week for a time of spiritual growth and weekly renewal.
